There have been many organized meeting of Hovercraft modelers in the UK at the Hovercraft Museum but it all started with two early meetings. The meetings were held in Gosport, Hampshire, UK. And were attended by a number of keen hovercraft modelers. There were talks and demonstrations of various craft and the hovercraft were run at one of the hovercraft museums storage sites at Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire. As you can see these were run in front of the museums full size SRN 4, Swift.
